Mālama da Farmer Grantee: Derek Von Gnechten

Thanks to the Mālama Da Farmer Grant, a hydroponic farm in Mountain View is addressing challenges caused by changing rainfall and limited infrastructure. Grant support will fund greenhouse expansion and additional water storage, increasing drought resilience and production of green onions and cilantro. This will allow the farm to supply more KTA locations and improve access to locally grown produce in communities with high SNAP/EBT participation.
