2017 Free Summer Meals for Keiki
Beginning June 1, 2017, the Hawaii State Department of Education Seamless Summer Option program will be available at public schools around the state free of charge to all children 18 years and under.
Meals will be served at select locations Monday through Friday, except June 12 and July 4. Most schools will serve breakfast and lunch.

Senior Produce Program
Update: March 21, 2017. The SFMNP/Senior Produce Program has been canceled for 2017.
The Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program’s (SNFMNP) popular “Senior Produce Program” which is administered by The Food Basket, Hawai`i Island’s Food Bank, will begin accepting registrations on June 1, 2016. Applications will be available online at www.hawaiifoodbasket.org (see below) and assistance will be available from 1:00 – 3:00 PM at The Food Basket warehouse at 40 Holomua Street in Hilo. Applications and assistance will also be provided by the Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM at 127 Kamana Street, Room 5. For West Hawaii assistance, please call 808-322-1418.
First come, first served as spaces are limited to 1347 Seniors island-wide – so register early!

Through their assistance we are able to fund specific programs such as the Senior Brown Bag Program and the Emergency Infant Formula and Baby Food Program.
