The Good Food For Everyone Fund believes that everyone in our community should have access to healthy food.
The Good Food For Everyone Fund is dedicated to providing low-income, elderly and under-served populations island-wide greater access to fresh, locally grown food.
The Good Food For Everyone Fund delivers on its mission, by a money matching program for SNAP recipients, also known as food stamps through our Ho`olaha Ka Hua aka “Da Box” program. SNAP recipients who sign up for “Da Box” receive 5 – 8 different types of locally grown fresh produce weekly at a cost of $10 a week. Retail customers pay the true cost of $16 per week for the “Da Box”. The Good Food For Everyone Fund uses its monies to keep the cost affordable for SNAP recipients and allows qualifying customers to continue their weekly access to nutritious, healthy produce without a lapse.
